Los Angeles, CA – Noah Beck, the popular TikTok star and former footballer, recently found himself at the center of an online controversy after a video of him dancing on stage with a female singer in the Bahamas went viral.
In the video, the singer playfully referred to him as gay, leading many fans to speculate about Beck’s sexuality and assume it was a ‘coming out’ moment.
However, in a recent interview with Zach Sang, Beck clarified the context behind the video and addressed the ongoing speculation about his sexuality.
Noah Beck has been a prominent figure on TikTok and social media platforms, garnering a massive following for his engaging content and charming personality.
Throughout much of his career, fans and followers have often speculated about his sexuality, but Beck had never explicitly addressed the rumors until now.
The viral video
The viral video in question showed Beck dancing on stage with a female singer in the Bahamas, during which the singer jokingly said, “I know you’re gay, just go with it,” to his laughter and delight.
Many fans took this as a coming-out announcement and began celebrating his perceived openness about his sexuality.
However, in his interview with Zach Sang, Beck explained that the video was taken out of context.
He revealed that he was in the Bahamas to celebrate a friend’s birthday and had attended a burlesque show where he was unexpectedly pulled up on stage.
Beck admitted that he felt nervous being in the spotlight in front of a large crowd, and the host’s remark was simply a humorous moment during the performance.
“I think we were dancing for like a minute up there, a minute right? And there comes a point where I’m trying to, like, slip away, I’m like, ‘get me off this,'” he said. “And she knew that, right? And she said that. And I didn’t think anything about it.”
Beck continued by explaining that he found the video funny and acknowledged that his sexuality had long been a topic of discussion among his fans. He clarified, “People were like, ‘Is this a coming-out video?’ And I was like, ‘no, it’s just a funny video.'”
When asked directly if he was coming out, Beck firmly stated, “No.”
He went on to discuss his upbringing, growing up with two sisters and in a female-dominated household, and how he’s comfortable being in touch with his feminine side.
Beck also addressed the assertive beliefs of some fans regarding his sexuality, saying, “They’re like ‘Oh no, there’s no way he’s not,’ and I’m like, ‘what’s even the point of saying anything?'”
Beck further expressed his view that social media is enabling men to explore their femininity and cited Harry Styles as an example of a male figure who has pushed the boundaries of masculinity.
Noah Beck’s interview with Zach Sang provides valuable insight into the misconceptions surrounding his recent viral video.
While some fans may have jumped to conclusions, Beck has clarified that it was all in good fun and not a formal announcement about his sexuality.
As the world of social media continues to evolve, it remains essential for public figures to have open and honest conversations about their lives and experiences to connect with their audiences genuinely.
